Ahri is a character from the popular online multiplayer game League of Legends (LoL), developed and published by Riot Games. Ahri is a nine-tailed fox who originally appeared as a champion in the game released in December 2011. She is known for her agility, charm, and her ability to manipulate magic. Ahri is often played as a mage-assassin, using her charm and mobility to outmaneuver and defeat her enemies. She's also known for her captivating design and backstory, which includes themes of redemption and the search for humanity.
Ahri was the first character in L.O.L that drawn me into playing the game. Her character design is very complex with every new skin she gets, though this skin 'Foxfire Ahri' really shows her fight and power in terms of strength and being. Her main character colors are shades of red, pink, purple, and for this skin mainly red.
I created 3 different variations of the poster. The first one created was the dark red poster to make Ahri stand out more. "Less is more." For the second one, I kept the red tone but made it more brighter to have the text blend in but also stand out. Finally, In the final one, I used gradient map to switch up the colors to match her true self more.
After seeing Valorant's splash image for their agents, I was inspired to start thinking of ways to create the backdrop text to introduce the character. I created an arrangement so that the words could easily flow into one another while maintaining unity in order to keep my idea unique and stick to the 'Riot' theme.
